The new service provides a programming interface that allows our customers to
integrate all the functionality in our website into their own application.
This means that our customers will be able to get inventory data, place
orders and check their status directly in their software instead of visiting
our website.
We are confident that after visiting this website:
https://www3.westerncarriers.com/webservices/wcservice.asmx, your IT
staff will have several ideas that can help your organization save time by
automating processes such as inventory consolidation or updating order
information when they are shipped. The potential is enormous and we hope that
you take advantage of this tool.
We have created a sample Windows application that can be used to test our web
services. The application can be downloaded
here. .NET Runtime Environment 1.1 must be installed in your computer.
You can click
here to download it.
Software developers interested in the source code of our demo application, can
get it here. You’ll need Visual Studio 2003 or newer to open the project. A Visual Studio 2005 version is included as well.
Additionally, we encourage developers to download
this PDF document for further technical details.
