6/11/2012 Project I Enhancements - Part 1 – Address Book

There are many enhancements coming to the project I functionality. To make it more readable, we are breaking these changes up into three sections, the first of which deals with the Address Book.

We are changing the address book functionality in a couple of ways. We have heard that you often add the same carrier and comments to a particular address. As a result of this, we have added three new fields to the address book: Carrier, comments line 1 and comments line 2, as well as moved the fields and links around to make it clearer what they do and what is saved. To more clearly delineate this change, the “Select from Address Book” link has moved above all the fields that are filled in when you choose to select an address from the address book. Also, the carrier field has moved to the bottom of the page above the comments fields, and the “Add current to Address Book” link has moved below all the fields that are saved. The screen will look like what is pictured below:

To save a new address to the address book, fill in all the information that you would like saved on the form, then click the “Add current to Address Book” link at the bottom of the page. Note that this will save the carrier and comment fields as well. If you don’t want to take advantage of this new functionality, please leave them blank prior to clicking the add link.

You will have the ability to view and change this functionality in the address book now in a new column labeled “additional”. If you hover your mouse over this field, you will see a popup displaying that information.
