We at Western Carriers have been busy over this summer to try to improve and streamline
the process of placing orders on our website, to make it faster and easier than
ever for you. This means that there are a few new substantial changes that you will
see in the coming weeks. We are pretty excited about them, and we hope you are too!
First, all of our pages have been better optimized for display on smaller screens
to enable you to place orders without having to scroll back and forth to see the
entire screen.
Secondly, the address book has been revised so it is no longer always at the bottom
of the screen. To access the address book, you now simply click on the “Select from
Address Book” link to the right of the Recipient section. This will cause a popup
to be displayed with the address information. It will default to display the first
letter that has addresses, instead of starting at the symbols. Selecting the address
can be done in the same way that it was before, by clicking on the checkmark symbol
on the right side, or clicking on the name of the address.
Next, we have revolutionarily changed the item listing page and now you can enter
cases and bottles together on one line. The cases and bottles radio button is gone,
and it has been replaced by two textboxes – one with cases and one with bottles.
Simply enter the number of cases and bottles for each item and move on to the next
one. No more double entry of items to enter cases and bottles!
Finally, we have also made improvements to the email confirmation that will be sent
out. We are now including a summary of the products that are ordered, as well as
the quantities ordered for your reference. This should help to eliminate any confusion
about how the order was placed in our system and should be retained for your reference.
We hope that these changes will make your ordering faster and easier.
Unfortunately, the changes we are making are going to cause any orders that are in
the "save for later" feature at the time of the upgrade to be lost. Please plan accordingly.
